Clinton Adams was an American painter, printmaker, and art historian. Born in Glendale, California, he taught at the University of California, Los Angeles, and later became the Dean of the University of New Mexico. Adams was instrumental in the revival of lithography in the United States and co-authored “”The Tamarind Book of Lithography.””
