1999 – Crucita Gonzales Calabaza, known as Blue Corn, was a renowned potter from San Ildefonso Pueblo, New Mexico. She was instrumental in reviving and innovating polychrome pottery techniques and won numerous awards, including the 8th Annual New Mexico Governor’s Award.
