Gunther Aron

Biography: Gunther Aron was a sculptor born in Germany who fled to England at the start of World War II and later immigrated to the United States. He studied at the Institute of Design in Chicago and became known for his abstract sculptures. Aron handcrafted a notable six-foot-tall steel menorah displayed at Santa Fe’s Holocaust and Intolerance Museum.
