Biography: Preston Duwyenie is a Hopi artist renowned for his elegant pottery, often highlighted with silver medallions. He taught ceramics for years at the Institute of American Indian Art (IAIA) in Santa Fe.

  • Debra Trujillo (also known as Debra Duwyenie) - Debra Trujillo is a Santa Clara Pueblo potter renowned for her miniature, highly polished, and intricately incised pottery. In the 1980s, she collaborated with Harvey Chavarria, producing award-winning pieces at the Santa Fe Indian Market. Later, she worked alongside her husband, Hopi potter Preston Duwyenie, combining their skills to create distinctive works.
