Doel Reed was a painter, printmaker, and teacher, best known for his prints, aquatints, and casein paintings. Born in Logansport, Indiana, he studied at the Art Academy of Cincinnati and served in World War I. His work is in the collection of the Carnegie Institute and other institutions.
