Sam Scott is a painter who began his artistic education at the Chicago Art Institute at the age of ten. He lived with the Oglala Sioux people in South Dakota in 1958 and committed to painting in Florence, Italy, in 1963. Scott’s work is influenced by his diverse experiences and cultural exposures.
