Robert Dale Tsosie, of Navajo and Picuris Pueblo heritage, was raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He began crafting jewelry as a child and later apprenticed under metal sculptor Charles Pratt. A graduate of the Institute of American Indian Arts, Tsosie’s sculptures are influenced by both Native American traditions and European modernists like Henry Moore and Constantin Brancusi.
